With his performance last night I thought he was an argyle fan Played advantage for them all the time last night first time he had the chance to do it for us he pulled us back for the free kick

yea that's my point , he seemed to take a dislike to us and favoured argyle at every opportunity and then compliments them after game .... impartial ....

He was born in East Yorkshire so not sure where his allegiance lies in terms of rivals in our league.

Well he is an Argyle season ticket holder isn't he ? tbf.

Only explanation for some of his decisions. Mowatt lucky to still have 2 legs.

Not the reason we didn't win mind, but still....

Correctly books Doughall but doesn't block their man for causing the problem. Kept playing advantage for far too long. Allowed the so called advantage when the play had no advantage from being further from goal than where the fouls took place.

He belongs to the Trevor Kettle school of referees who have never had a good game with us involved. Always been a poor referee

Carl Boyeson. Horrible history in charge of our games through the years.

It’s a strange one. After about 25-30 minutes, I turned to my mate and said that this is the best ref we’ve had for a while. For the next hour of open play, his calls were totally batsh1t.

I think he was the ref who disallowed a goal v Birmingham a few years back, in the Keith Hill era, because they thought Paul Digby was offside when he collected his own through ball before putting the cross in.

Dint reckonise him, seems to have put a bit of chunk on. **** knows how some of the refs get through the beep tests in pre season.

Had a look on Soccerbase to see for sure what matches he's reffed us in and we've an awful record. Was in charge when we lost to MK Dons conceeding five. Was the ref when Northampton knocked us out of the league cup. When we drew 0-0 at Bury in the coldest I have ever been watching us where he sent off Hammill. I remember that match as Danny Rose came on as a sub for them to a good hand from our fans, got booked for diving in the box and then got abused the rest of the game.

He must be 50 hes been around so long hes reffed us 16 times. Bearing in mind that would be virtually all at this level.

Probably took offence to Davies chucking the ball at him at the end of the first half. He was visibly taken aback by that

Aghast. Referees compliments a team on their performance. What is actually wrong with that .seen it many a time.

It's strange that we never see threads on here criticising the ref's performance for being overly biased towards us... :D

Maybe it's just one big conspiracy and all the EFL refs hate us.
