what I don't get ( amongst other things) if its sold and they don't need to get extra money back in, why are they keeping the FA cup semi finals there?
What I don't understand is why the Premier league makes a killing out of it Or why the public lottery funded money is given back at cost abd inflation or increased property values haven't been taken into account. How the **** can it have been an interest free loan for 10 years?
Can't get my head around the last paragraph and statement before the questionaire. The 1st line of the paragraph states: " The following are guaranteed for Wembley if the stadium is sold: England men’s and women’s internationals (except men’s autumn internationals during the NFL season)" - that bits fine, fully understand that and suspect that the reason Khan wnats the stadium is to try and put himself at the forefront to either a relocation of his existing franchise in the NFL, or an expansion franchise and sell his existing, its the statement a couple of lines later: "The sale would make it financially easier for the FA to take England games around the country.", how can they take England games around the country, other than the autumn internationals if they are already guaranteed for Wembley????
My question is, who gives a roast fig if it’s sold or not? It stopped holding any kind of historical significance for me when it was rebuilt into yet another soulless stadium bart atmosphere. Yawn off Wembley, your time has gone
Seems they are more worried about him moving NFL and Fulham into Wembley judging by the weighting of the questions.
Should never have been rebuilt in that location. The infrastructure in and around the NEC in Birmingham would have been far superior - three motorways, mainline rail and an international airport, a huge amount of car parking and plenty of hotels. It came home to me when we went down for the FA Cup semi and we were winding around the same industrial estate we'd done for the play-off final against Ipswich. It hadn't improved when we played Spurs in the League Cup except this time the coach parking near the stadium had been lost and the coaches were parked on another piece of waste ground away from the stadium.
