It's not really anger towards them, it's just the fact that 30k of their 75k fans any weekend are from at least 100 miles from Manchester and to a lot of people, myself included, they represent a lot of the things that are wrong with modern football. So when they lose it's nice, but I don't lose sleep when they win.
General consensus with most United fans I know is they love Jose and Pogba and wish they would get along. But they want shut of Ed Woodward.
The hate Woodward. Even today Jose got a good response from the fans walking to the dugout pre game. Fergie at the end of a season would give David Gill an handful of names to try and sign, then holiday in the south of France and leave him to it safe in the knowledge at least some will sign. Jose wanted Magurie who Woodward didn't think was worth the cash and for the same reason missed out on a player to Everton.
Went out with a Man Utd fan last night. As I do most weekends. He's from Manchester, it's his home town club. He didn't even watch the Newcastle match he's so disillusioned with Mourihno. I could write a 10,000 word essay about what Mourihno gets wrong, I hear it every week. I've never heard of Woodward. He's never once mentioned him.
Obviously some will want him out but overall, Mourinho still has a lot of backing from man u fans. You could see this from the banners and chanting at the game yesterday.
I don’t know about others but for me it comes from going to a school in Barnsley & there been more Man Utd fans than Barnsley fans. Our fan base would be so much bigger if these glory hunters supported their local teams.
