All at home. Pompey, Posh and Charlton. I wonder if the club will do a deal like last year. Perhaps any 2 of those 3 games for £30 or all 3 for £50? Get a few more bums on seats for what could be a pivotal few matches.
Cracking idea. But, I for one, as a season ticket holder costing x amount of pounds per game, don't care if they give all available home seats away for a pound a pop. Get the ground rocking for the festive fixtures and start January as, hopefully, a top two team.
As a season pass holder I wouldn't mind letting those who visit Oakwell getting in less than the 14 quid odd per game a season pass works out has. If all three of those clubs are in and around us still by that time, make it thirty quid for all three games.
Great idea! Festive games are always something to look forward to and if we're still bang in the promotion race it'll be awesome to pack Oakwell out. Thinking back it's probably 1999-2000 since we went into Xmas in a proper promotion race. I remember those games with fondness, a Boxing Day win against Port Vale with the North Stand full of Reds fans... would love for a similar feeling (2005-06 didn't have the same feel for me as we were only grinding out results and hanging around about 6th I think). I'm sceptical that people will take up these kind of offers but let's try and hope the casual fans want to back us and roar us on.
Really hope someone at the club sees this. A full stadium matters so much more than any potential loss in revenue for these three games- they could be the difference between the £6mn quid and increased ST sales promotion would bring and another season in League One
