That’s nearly the spine of the team missing for Saturday then .Step forward Cam McGeehan should certainly be up for it.
Big blow that, three huge players out. And it would be a TV game too wouldn't it, not that it should matter that much, but I do like us to give a good account of ourselves when on the box. But the comforting thing is we should still have enough to win, McGeehan or Bird slotted straight in, Jacob up top, let's keep the optimism flowing.
Missing 3 players from the spine of the team will be difficult. Let’s hope players coming in can step up.
It's a shame he avoided being booked for a change at Peterborough so he could have his one match ban whilst he's not around.
A wonder if Luton are missing any first teamer’s . Either way we still should be going into the game full of confidence after Saturday s. result.
Pleased for Kenny but rubbish for us - Luto are in exactly the same form as us but it will be difficult without Kenny & Kieffer (not to mention Davies) - fed up about all this
Hope we start with Bird. Mcgeehan lasted 45 mins last time didn't he? Well done to Kenny but hugely disappointed with this.
If McGeehan gets the nod I wouldn't be surprised if he performs in a similar vein to Moncur at Peterborough. George obviously felt he had something to prove and he delivered in spades. Cameron will be aching to get a chance against his old team and, if he does, I can see him stepping up several gears.
Don't think it's his commitment/workrate which is the issue though. If anything he seems like he tries too hard. Just dont think he has the attributes to play DM.
Yes, but as I said the other day, a lot of football is played in the mind rather than on the grass. He will have been waiting for this fixture to come round hoping he has a chance of playing. He has a slim chance, maybe more than that, and I would expect his game to improve considerably. I can't explain why footballers seem to do it on certain occasions, and not on others, but we've all seen it. The Luton fans will be goading him, just like we will be giving Elliot Lee some of the same. I hope Cam responds in the right way and rifles one in at the away end in the first few minutes.
