Sounds like they deserve it tbf, one incorrectly ruled out for offside and another hit the post. Need to keep our heads 2nd half and kill the game as soon as possible.
Silly tackle. Impetuousness of youth. Should be done and dusted this game. As it is we’ll do well to win it. We need at least one more I think.
Other than last few mins i feel we have done very well. Was impressed with the midfield. We look a bit dodgy at the back and cant help think that a Championship strikeforce would tear us a new one. 2-1 is about right i think, they deserved it.
I think woeful is harsh but he has looked nervy. Cavare looked like he was blowing out of his arse after 30 minutes too - then ran past three or four. That goal makes this second half twitchy, they’ll come out and go at us no doubt, hopefully we can hold out and pick some spaces.
See my comment on other thread. Moncur a genius going forward. Set up for second goal was class. Sadly, unlike Potts he is not tracking back & covering his defender. (Standing hands on hips). Give Williams a break in his second game & look at a player in Moncur that has flattered to deceive too many times in games. I'd be tempted to put Hedges on & take Brown off & play Moncur & Potts in the middle. Hedges would stop their threat down our left hand side. Like Brown, but he's getting nowhere today.
Dead cert pen, not sure why some are questioning it. Williams knew it was a pen. He's played well - hopefully DS will put his head right at HT and he'll learn from it.
Soft pen although we shouldn’t have been in that position anyway. We’ve all probably done it at some time though, easy decision to make when you’re watching not so easy when you are in among it
