I'm lost as to what people expect/ +5 G/D against Peterboro and Luton, yet people seem overtly critical. I don't get it. Would +6 or +7 have made them happy???

I saw that but apart from the he had a good game. You can't grab shirts in the area though simple as that.

Have to agree. Luck has not been on our side, but I thought in the second half we were poor, till Thiam came on.

We looked great first half, second half went a little Keith Hill to be fair, but we just outclassed them totally.

I thought he was weak all game. Not a patch on Jackson imo.

Opinions. He wasn't faultless today but on the whole I think he had a good game one of pur better players for me. I saw the wrestling in the area though which could of cost us.

Yet we probably shouldn’t give each other a reach around just yet. They came up from the division below and we’ve spent millions on our squad in reality.

He was done for pace most of the afternoon. He was one of our poorer players and it pushed others out of position to cover him. He did well to not be at fault for a goal. He's alright but I don't get why some talk him up as the second coming.

We've got one of the tightest defences in the league. Did you go to Fleetwood the other week? Jacko was awful at the start of the game. All over the shop.

I thought their 2nd goal was offside, not the lad that knocked it in but the other one who challenged the keeper. He was clearly offside and was by any definition of the term "active" or for the old 'uns like me "interfering with play" as Walton ineffectually flapped in the general direction of the ball.

They don't. They just don't have a downer on him like others do.

Stendel is in charge of a team that's 3rd in the league with a game in hand and one of the best defensive records in the league.

I think we can safely trust his judgement as things stand when it comes to picking players.

I thought he had a fine game today. Mind you, I like Adam Jackson too.

Since the defeat at Coventry we've played 4 games. We've won 3 and drawn 1. We've scored 11 goals, nearly 3 per game, and conceded 4. We're 3rd in the league. We've only lost 1 game all season. I submit that there's very little to complain about. I for one am loving it.

No I didn't. Understandable why Jackson got better as the game went on though, first league game since April.

Also, and this is just my opinion, I think our defence is shakier than a shitting dog. Our powerful midfield and attacking game has simply meant that they are rarely under pressure but by God when they are do we know about it.

Seems liking both Lindsay and Jackson are mutually exclusive to some folk.

Under anyone with common senses view of the offside rule I'd agree with you entirely but under the interpretation of the law that is bizarrely used these days he wasn't active as he never got close enough to the ball

It's a team game. The midfield is there to help defence and forwards, and it does that very well.

You're not going to have a defence that is entirely comfortable in every game.

Doesn't matter how good your defence is if you have no midfield you will still concede.
