Not posted for a while but having just watched the Mike Bahre and Andreas interviews I thought i'd put "pen to paper" / digit ends to keyboard or however it's described these days. In watching both Andreas and Daniel (not having seen Herr Stern) in all their interviews it's so encouraging to see guys who speak so positively about the club, the players and our town. Whilst watching managers up and down the country being interviewed across the media, I always ask myself, "Would I like to work for that guy?" e.g. Mourinho - no. Klopp - yes. Mark Hughes - no. Sean Dyche - yes. In the case of our coaching team the answer to that is an unequivocal YES. Their positivity seems boundless and that must infect the players and their approach to training and playing. Seems like they suffered under Hecky's final weeks, and clearly things weren't right under Jose. The point being that they're now showing what they can do if managed in the right way. Great to see and all credit to the Team who sought out Danny, Andreas and Christoph, them and appointed them. All this is easy to say as we're doing so well, but it's true. In listening to Andreas there is one concern that has cropped up.....he talked jokingly about being apart from his family and how that allowed him to focus more on work. At some stage that could become a factor for any of the three guys if they have family back in Germany; i.e. is it really sustainable for them to continue like this over a period of years? Let's hope that potential problem rears its head later rather than sooner, because this coaching team have the attitude and ability to take us to the next level. Come right on you mighty mighty Reds.
They've been like a breath of fresh air after last season- hope to see them around for some time to come
