I think reading between the lines it’s unlikely they will be involved again just a bit of mind games to keep Charlton guessing I reckon.
The management can hardly be "sweating" on Woodrow's fitness. It would be good to see Moore involved, although I expect him to be on the bench at best. Woodrow could feature on Tuesday (don't know which one though!).
This is the funny thing about other clubs fans idea that a few suspensions and injuries will derail us. We scored 6 goals since Moore was injured at Posh and have been without Hedges, Woodrow, Isgrove and Fryers, lost Davies and Dougal to international call ups and sold Bradshaw. Not all first choice admittedly but it's a squad game.
The Sunderland fan I endured on Saturday evening had allegedly watched the game (but missed our 3 goals, but not the offside) and said we looked ok, but what was the rest of our squad like outside the first team. His face did drop a bit when I said we were without our top scorer, international goalkeeper, probably our best technical player in Dougall, and about 3 or 4 other people in and around the first team. If fans of our promotion rivals want to try and find fault and downplay us, wonderful. Let them.
Will be a cracking game when we play them. Really looking forward to that one. Should be a big crowd.
Glad and gutted they are both midweek so can't get up, but at least they will be broadcast on ifollow.
Will make even better then. Not that you're unable to attend more that might matches in front of good crowds can be a bit special.
Only if you win! I can't say I enjoyed the Leicester game the year we got relegated when they filled the away end as they pushed for promotion, Drinkwater scoring and walloping us 3-0.
Exactly - it's only good having a good atmosphere with a big away following if we win. As for "Oakwell under the lights" being a bit special, there wasn't much evidence of that against Plymouth was there? It was a flat atmosphere and a nondescript game. Hopefully that is out of their system now and it's thrills all the way for the rest of the season
I did say with a decent crowd. The atmosphere in our end at Sunderland will be top notch. Also I said "can be a bit special". I didn't guarantee it.
