I hope they’re on top of the persistent standers on Saturday unlike their counterparts at Peterborough. Worst away game experience in years. That’s the problem when your selling out everywhere and winning. Much preferred it in championship.
At Peterborough it was hard for people to sit on uncomfy wooden seats with no leg room and restricted viewing at 26 quid a pop. We need to update our Eticketing sooner the better so when buying away tickets you have to click on a specific seat like when buying for Oakwell. Then people can follow the unwritten rule of standers to the back and those who want to use their seat nearer the front. It would help matters greatly compared to the current system of not knowing where you will be until the ticket is in your hand.
Won't work as I doubt clubs are setup for that sort of facility. It also leaves odd seats do reduces capacity.
If the facilities were not like our own west stand, people would be more for sitting. If it's not comfy to sit down (which it wasn't) for once I don't blame standing. I wouldn't expect it at Charlton which is a decent away end. I'm sure we could get around it such as not letting people buy multiple single tickets, so they have to buy a batch next to each other. Or have so they can just pick a row of preference knowing the club will give them a ticket on it. People not wanting to sit is a pain for many such as those who can't stand for long periods, but you're never going you stop them, so a compromise would be good. Even if we can't do it online we could in person at the box office by asking fans if they would prefer being nearer the front or back.
If you want to stand up, buy a time machine and transport back to the 80’s. This is 2018, sit down, be quiet or be called an idiot online.
It’s like they think they’re there for a good time. They support Barnsley, having a good time is not in the gig. Sit down, be quiet and watch us get stuffed 3 nowt.
Glad you agree that people who stand up persistently are discourteous, self centred and often aggressive idiots Silvio. Only time I usually got out of my seat was when everyone else stood up as soon as Adam Hammill got the ball.
I think people who stand up at football matches need executing on the Town Hall steps......we could do it every Friday!! Get a fuking grip, in 20 years of going to away games on my tod I can’t recall one incident where standing has been an issue for me or caused by me. Talk about some folk making mountains out of mole hills
If all the stand up fans went to the back, they could stand up on each other's shoulders if they wanted Just do not do it where your impeding fans who want to sit A lot of fans cannot stand for 90 minutes, and there are kids who cannot see Manners comes to mind
I’m going Down tomorrow wi my 5 year old son.. and I’m driving my mate darn wi his 7 year old daughter.. think we might just stand up all game with kids on r shoulders nar
