People trawling back through posts months after to prove a point doesn’t happen on here does it???

 

I find it bizarre. In football, things change regularly and swiftly. People have different views, it's pretty tragic and shallow for the purpose of posting to be "right" at a tiny moment in time. I cant imagine how long it takes to click on a persons history and find something to chunter at or then appear to "prove them wrong"

Lifes too short, comment in the moment.

It’s like when people posting on here during the game complaining and moaning. I don’t see the point because the game will have highs and lows and change regularly, may as well just wait in my opinion.

 

Absolutely agree. If we're losing, always the same people chuntering, then go silent when we win. That comment is based on during the game, not for those who have actually been.

 

If X posts "Potts is crap" one week, then the week after posts "Potts is great", do you think whoever took issue with X on week 1 should simply keep quiet on week 2?

If Potts was crap one week and great the next, and that's general consensus... why would anyone feel the need to troll someone for it? People are allowed to change their mind over time.

 

It depends upon the words used.

"Potts is crap" is different to "Potts played crap".

People should always be responsible for the words that they use, whether it be today or last year.

If they choose them wisely enough in the first place, they won't end up looking a tit if someone reminds them of what ******** they posted in the past.

And if they do get reminded of posts of tosh, as I'm sure many would be able to do in my case, then they deserve to suffer a bit of humiliation. It won't kill them.

 

Well if you want to be auditor for the board... ;-) Though in jays case, someone trolling back 2 months for one very particular thread of all the posts he puts is random beyond words. But hey, that's just my view, and I might change it next week. Feel free to hold me to account ;-)

 

No I agree with you in Jay's case. Plus that particular poster seems to have it in for him.

Bit like me having it in for Conan (he knows I revere him really though).

 

I quite like Conan to be fair.... one day he'll smile and I hope i'm still alive to see such evidence!
