Very interesting piece in this weeks Chronicle. Apparently GG, Stendel and Winkler went
to Adams home to discuss prospects for his future, but a Contract was not forthcoming.
Going to do his UEFA badges and hopes to be a coach in the future. Wouldn't be at all
surprised if he didn't return to Oakwell at some point to help nurture the younger
players coming through the Youth system.

Be good to see him back here as a coach in the future. Always good to have people who care about the club behind the scenes.

He'd be contributing more than isgrove and hedges for my opinion.

He’d have done a job in League 1. Not championship level any more, but definitely league 1.

Interesting line: "He was the only one who took a chance on me to come back, when I was doing no training and I had fallen out of love with the sport."

I personally feel that re-signing Hammill was a key factor in the turnaround we saw that season, so does this indicate that Patrick overruled the 'footballing side' of the operation, with positive results?

Good luck to Adam anyway. I'd have loved to see him back in a Reds shirt this year, but can appreciate why the club decided against.
