£5 is a fair price but just shows what fans think of this competition narr Prem babies are in it.

    Not one for me.

Not sure I would bother with a final this time if we made it.

A Wembley final? Seeing your club contest a trophy at the home of football? You wouldn’t bother?

Each to their own, but we are not one of the top 40 clubs in this country, chances of seeing us lift silverware will be few and far between. I hope we win the thing, and the league. The Double Season. Nice to look back on in the future.

It’s a nuisance at the minute, but once you get to the final it’s a big event. I loved the Oxford match.

So did I, was a great day out. Maybe I would come round if we did get that far. But for me the greed league bullying club's into allowing these youth teams in has totally devalued it for me. Personally hope 1 or better yet 2 of the youth sides make the final.

Yeah same. It's a stale reminder that we are low enough in the football pyramid to be part of it. Hopefully no more after this season.

I'd not be going, and I go to a lot of games.

You can't compare the Oxford game to this competition. The Premier League's stockpiling of talent has led to this, and we are obliged to play their youth teams as though it is a privilege. The Johnstone's Paint Trophy we won was not like this.

The only way to kill this fvcking abomination is to not fund it. I hope we get knocked out early. If we get to the final I won't be there.

I totally understand that argument and believe me, I find it ridiculous that under-aged one and two tier sides have entered. It’s just bizarre and I don’t buy the reasoning behind it.

However, I want us to win every game. To see us at Wembley again would be special. I’ll never get bored of it. To win another trophy? Priceless.

Again, I get that argument. I agree with the sentiment too. But it’s still my club in a verified competition. With a trophy and Wembley final at the end of it. The club getting there and lifting more silverware is only positive for everything we are striving to achieve in the future. I’d be worried if we weren’t taking this huge opportunity seriously.

You cannot buy the sort of positive media and marketing that yet another Wembley win would bring us. And like I say, if we won the title as well....

We have to play the long game. The club is on the up after picking itself up after a knockout blow. Little by little, we are growing bigger and bigger. In my humble opinion. So as toss as this tinpot cup seems on the face of it, it’s got some clout behind it in terms of helping us progress long term.

    Hope that makes sense.

Completely agree that it’s ridiculous what they’ve done to it as a competition. And don’t fault anyone for not attending.

I loved the Fleetwood Semi and the Oxford Final. The competition has gone downhill since though.

I see your point too and as I said I wasn't sure if I'd go. I also don't feel much for Wembley either but I agree about the seeing us win a trophy part. Let's hope it's the league title!
