OTTTV advice

    I know some people on here use the IPTV service OTTTV. Can I ask, do you have to update the M3U file to get the group's to update. I noticed on Saturday when I looked in the ifollow group there were no matches there and it said they would appear, I updated the M3U file and then got the ones that were showing that day. So do you have to update it everytime, cheers

    If you are using the addon on kodi, it updates automatically. If you are using the Smart IPTV app you should have two options on the playlist upload website where you can input an url underneath the m3u file option. The URL is on your OTTV account page near where you download the m3u file. Using the URL it should update automatically. If you aren't using the SmartIPTV app and another app look for the URL option.

    No, should appear close to kick off. No need to update the file everytime. I use it on kodi and through the app and never needs updating

    I'm using the Smart IPTV app on a Samsung TV but do have it on Kodi on laptop too, thanks both for the info

    Cheers for this. I've got the URL from where you said it would be on my VPN Nova account and sent it to the tv via the Smart IPTV playlist upload page. Do i have to put anything else at the beginning of the string ie http etc as when i relaunch the app on the tv it says URL Nr.1 Error, cheers

    No problem. I upload my playlists manually myself. I only do this as I edit out the adult channels with notepad first. I don't want my young un going on them by accident.

    No. The ifollow service seems to be hit and miss on it most of the championship is shown but not much else
