Why has your carer allowed you to post this garbage? You really need to be kept in your padded cell. PS Man Utd are ****.

Easy to say when you are a white male and never experienced any sort of racism. To make comment on someone's skin coulor which they have no choice over is most offensive to someone of diffrent ethnicity. Wonder if he would of done the same if it wasn't a old woman instead a bloke in mid 30s say? Sa

Except that's not the case because onky after this was shared did Ryanair feel pressured into reporting the matter to the police. Until the social media reaction they were happy to sweep it under the carpet.

Can't that cause you to involuntarily shout out racist comments but not actually to be racist?

Yeah - but you never know they might be racists and the Tourette's might be a happy coincidence!

No disability "makes" someone racist, but there are plenty of disabilities such as autism and asperger's where people tend to not have a filter... is it good that they say stuff like that? No of course it isn't. Should they be held accountable for their actions? Not if they lack capacity, no. Should they be going on flights unaccompanied if they lack capacity? Of course not.

All this is hypothetical but if this gent has some form of learning difficulty, you can't compare and judge him as you would a friend if they behaved like that.

But if a person has chosen to be racist then i don't think they should be able to hide behind a disability that stops them from hiding their abhorrent views in public. If they weren't horrible racists in the first place then their lack of filter wouldn't be a problem would it? Its not the lack of filter which is an issue but their views

Do people actually know this person has a disability as he doesn't appear to be accompanied by anyone else?

I don't think Tourettes causes sufferers to scream sustained abuse like we see in the video. If this guy has got mental / learning issues it's much more likely to be something like autism.

I'd like to know what can be done about smelly ******** on public transport?

Trains and trams are often overcrowded- most unpleasant.

I would recommend spending some time with people with learning difficulties and having a read up on the Mental Capacity Act, then decide whether people with certain diagnoses have the ability to know right from wrong.

You are judging them by your own standards and belief systems- you can't do that. You wouldn't say a 4 or 5 year old was disgusting and call for their head if they were filmed saying a racist comment and it went viral- it is basically the same for some people with learning disabilities, they often have the mental age of a young child.

There are too many people on the BBS who look at things in black or white, right or wrong, good or bad... i'm not specifically aiming this at you but i've noticed there never seems to be any in between or consideration for other explanations into things. Too many quick to jump to conclusions. Some on here are incredibly judgmental.

And just to reiterate- if this male doesn't have some form of learning difficulty, then he deserves the full force of the law.

Based entirely on what I have seen yes I do think he has mental issues of some kind. I am not excusing or defending his behaviour, far from it, but I cannot believe anyone of sound mind would behave like this so publicly.

It's got to do with what you posted.

You spoke of judging a friend.

No i meant people were judging his actions as they would a friend who didnt have learning difficulties if they behaved like that.

I think that was pretty obvious and I'm not getting into a debate with you.
