Grant McCann has just said on Deedah that our starting eleven was put together for ten million pounds. Is that right or is he talking rubbish? I can remember something like a million for Thiam, but surely it's nowhere near that across the team?

About right that. Much different to when we were last in this division - an expensive team for this league.
Cavare wasn't nowt was he? He was bought for £1.5 million just a couple of seasons earlier, so I doubt it. Reports said Pinnock was £750k and Thiam a million, but they're all undisclosed so I don't really know.

I thought he was a free agent as his contract was run down because of injury? Could be wrong. But he was certainly on trial at Huddersfield and then us which says to me he was a free agent. I think you’re closer with the Pinnock fee though.
