Decent vs Peterborough, very very poor since. Seems to just hit and hope when making a pass, lunges in and makes daft fouls, several wasted crosses from a good position. Struggle to see where the hype is coming from

Where’s Zeki Fryers? He was supposed to be 5 weeks away at the start of the season. We’re nearly in November!

Cauley Woodrow isn’t a real human being.

Why do we get lied to constantly?

Well it's been said on here he was at fault for the 1st 2 he gave away a needless pen v Luton and had a absolute mare. So that's 3 goals in 2 games he has cost us. Pinnilos is world's ahead imo

He was poor tonight. McGeehan was hopeless. Davies hapless. Pinnock played like a prannock. Moore was in the mire. Bahre was at the bar.Potts was the pits.

When I was a kid the shittest player was always told to play left back maybe Daniel Stendel is also aware of this rule?

I thought Williams was one of our better players. He certainly couldn't look up down or sideways for an inspirational team mate.

I didn’t go to Peterborough where he got the rave reviews but I went at home to Luton and I thought he was poor then.

I imagine once Pinillos is back and Fryers (if ever) he might go back to the 23s.

Still has time on his side though.

Cavare can't cross for toffee and gives five fouls away a game at edge of box. Get real

On the bits I’ve seen he’s the complete opposite to George Smith.

Smith was solid defensively but poor on the ball where as Williams looks poor defensively but decent on the ball.

But to be fair to the lad he’s our third choice left back. How many clubs in the third tier are carrying quality third choice full backs?

I'm not prepared to write the young lad off just yet as he's hardly played any first team football. That being said, his performances tonight and against Luton would suggest he's not ready to be anywhere near the first team. Not only does he look a bit lost he brings all manner of worry to Liam Lindsay who really struggled to play alongside him.

I don’t understand the selection - surely we saw Hedges playing better at LB recently - add to it Cavare blundering about & there’s little doubt as to why we’re defensively poor - Ounnick should be told time & time again to mark his man rather than be 10-15 yards away - poor tonight

There is absolutely no point singling out any one player tonight. The whole team were garbage. We can play so much better than that, which is why such frustration. Was looking forward to tonight but the game was lost in the first 5 minutes.

The concerns from a team perspective is leadership. Only Keiffer seemed to be trying to get stuck in which meant he dropped back into central midfield just to get involved. Williams to his credit was bang up for it, but just was out numbered regularly and inexperienced. He had no one helping him all game. I don’t think he’s quite ready, but he definately needs better support from his team mates. And first half I’m not sure if Thiam was a winger, but we had absolutely no cover for either full back. They regularly had 2 players to mark.

The squad and Stendel need to come up with solutions to that kind of match. Which I’m sure they will. Some matches we’ll need to be solid defensively and attack on the break. Make teams break us down. Especially away from home. We gifted that match to Shrewsbury from a howler and the whole team were beaten.

Nobody was on their game. Briefly I thought Moncur was the catalyst to change our fortunes, but it needed more players to raise their games.

I honestly think mentally we were beaten as soon as they went ahead. And when they got the 3rd we gave up. Which is more dissapointing than being outplayed.

In my humble opinion there is a lot of talent in this team. And when we start outplaying teams the lads confidence grows, but any setback and we go into our shells. I honestly don’t think we have a captain amongst the squad, but Jackson is the closest. So I’d have him in. Either instead of Lindsey or as a back 3.

And can we knock the zonal marking ***** on the head? Shrewsbury saw what we were doing, overloaded certain areas and always had spare men.

Anyway, it’s a long season. We’ve had a good start. Some great wins. Some ***** losses. Today was rank bad. Saturday could be the start of a run of wins.

Hmm, lots of people slating a lad who's had three games! Seems like quite a few have only seen him in the Luton at home game too and are ready to condemn him on one viewing.

For me he certainly wasn't the worst on the pitch last night for us, his cross led to our goal and he played one or two other good crosses in too. He has the pace which Stendel is looking for and is always willing to get forward and be where you'd expect to be when we have the ball (unlike Cavare).

Having been at both games I can confidently say that Williams last night was a country mile ahead of Pinillos 'display' on Saturday. Yes, he has things to learn but let's not also forget that he mostly had Thiam and then Moncur playing in front of him which means a protection factor of absolute zero.

His crossing is like Tom Kennedy’s, just floats them into the keeper’s arms.

Completely agree. Young lad filling in whilst our number 1 left back is suspended and our back up is injured.

Some of our 'fans' are a disgrace.

Aye. People taking time off work and spending plenty of their own brass and time to go and support the team. Should be ashamed. *******.

You mean a decent young left back that will fill a hole when needed so we don't need to go out & buy someone in as cover?

That'll do for me. I'd quite fancy us having a few more like that tbf.
