    To be fair to Wembley, they didn't plan for Spurs still being there in October. Not really their fault is it?

    Yeah but these NFL games have been planned well in advance. Spurs has been a bit last minute. Im sure they were warned.

    But based on the nfl games being planned well in advance it was wrong of the fa to sacrifice the national stadiums pitch simply to appease a London club who were unwilling to redevelop their stadium without closing it

    It was in far better nick than the old Baseball Ground or any league ground used to be in winter for that matter.
    Footballers used to play on any surface to test their skills but now the pampered pets only like to play on a lush carpet.
    Look at some of George Best's greatest moments - a lot were played on a quagmire.
