This means no disrespect what so ever as what has happened is a huge tragedy and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. But they have decided to go by Coach to Cardiff instead of flying there. Why would they fly there anyways surely it's only about 2 - 2.5 hours on coach anyway.
And as sad as it is I don't get why clubs have decided to pay their respects with a minute silence. Hope we don't follow suit.
Same way other clubs did when we lost Rimmo and Patrick as I don't remember other clubs having a silence for our loss.
******* hell. All deaths are obviously tragic but if you can’t see the difference in this case then you are clearly bonkers.
It's confirmed they are driving - https://www.skysports.com/football/...ster-city-to-drive-rather-than-fly-to-cardiff
Again wery sad news. But if it had been anyvhere other than at the stadium then there wouldn’t be all this spotlight on it.
Clubs that can afford it prefer to fly to long distance away games because it avoids staying overnight.
It’d take a lot longer than that wouldn’t it? They’d be going down on a Friday which is the worst day to get anywhere. I’d imagine 3 & a half to 4 hours road journey. Loads easier for Leicester to get a flight especially when you consider how close East Midlands airport is
2hrs 58 minutes according to the AA route planner..... but that's assuming the traffic conditions are good... I would put about 30 - 45 minutes on that
Not really. They've just witnessed a horrific air accident less than a week ago. If it had been a coach accident on sat maybe theyd have flown. Dont think its stupid though. Longer term maybe but not when less than a week ago.
I do recall other clubs showing respect. Didn't we see Jimmy Armfield given the same respect with Patrick at games played at the time?
