These reasons are as bad as a leave voter stating they don't want immigration from Asia as their reason for leaving. I seriously hope you're joking.

I’m quite sure there were many millions. There were many millions on both sides who didn’t however! I didn’t know full fact were funded that way cheers, it’s a minefield getting to the facts but the full fact article I linked to basically backs up this piece

    https://migrationobservatory.ox.ac....s/the-fiscal-impact-of-immigration-in-the-uk/

Linked again with no idea who funds it!

I’d rather trust the EU with our money than the Government.

The EU’s done loads for Northern towns like ourselves, the Tories do f all

I’m only going off people I’ve spoke to in this area but in my opinion the majority of people in this town who voted leave are either racists or had genuine concerns about immigration. I’ve never heard a single person come up with another reason.

    I’m not saying that’s everyone, but I do think it’s a majority.

If we had a second vote I think many of them would now vote different as they’re aware of the consequences but should we have a second vote? I don’t know if that’s fair or not. I personally want one but I’m at the stage where I’m past caring now.

It’s a sad fact, and it is a fact before anyone takes umbrage that there is many who thought like this first guy. education in the lead up to the vote would helped but just like on here, I suspect there’s no changing of anyone’s mind :)

I've decided. The people who annoy me the most are those who voted leave but now feel like they were conned. Conned by Nigel Farage. These people shouldn't be allowed to vote.

Noel Gallagher summed it up best when he said ‘why give the vote to people? People are idiots that we have politicians’

    Agreed.
People like myself didn’t vote for Brexit to stop immigration - we voted so there was a control on immigration.
    Huge difference there.
If the country needs more immigration than what is here now - then that’s fine - but it will be tailored to the country’s need and capacity to accommodate them eg roads, schools, health facilities etc.

I’m a big supporter of Nigel.
The most influential politician in the last 10 years - there’s no question about that.
I knew exactly why I voted leave.

    A was obviously generalising.
But the message is that many farmers have become extremely wealthy due to handouts from the tax payers.
And - when we leave we will able to spend billions more in this country.

The controls for immigration were already part of EU law, they just weren’t being used by us.

The saddest part of it for me was talking to someone on my recent trip back home who was “happy about leaving the EU because it would stop all the Indians and Pakistanis from coming in”........ perhaps you should have to pass a test in order to be eligible to vote......

So you would be happy for the country to financially collapse or fall back into recession as long as we control immigration ?

And how do you square up that more people emigrate from uk than migrate to uk ?
Is it ok in your view that Uk residents do it but not from outside .
Fact is if all Uk residents were sent back and all foreign nationals went back we would be more populated .
Your just a populist who really has no idea other than like minded discussions in the pub.

The leave vote alone has cost the NHS £900 million per year in increased drug costs due to the fall in currency. Any further fall in the value of the pound will increase that further.

what about the ones who said if they had known the outcome they would have voted, err its too fking late now, closely followed by the ones who keep banging on about it not being a big enough majority to count, rules is rules and the ones that count are the ones in place at the time.

I voted Brexit , but I'm not against immigration , though open ended immigration is somewhat hard to manage . The problem I have is that successive governments have rubbed their hands together at immigration , the extra revenue it creates via increased economic activities has increased revenues . But instead of directing those extra revenues into infrastructure for said immigrants ( housing for example ) the money has been frittered away on tax cuts and government pet projects .

Would you mind making your point without using capital letters all over the place? I can understand it equally well in mixed case. It feels like I am reading the Daily Mail. Thanks.

Where are all these rich farmers then nudge?

It doesn’t seem to be much of a worthwhile occupation in this he cases I’ve seen.

I’ve met few farmers who have wasn’t enough to retire by 50 put it that way.

Still they might get richer if we can’t import from the eu and so can pressure the supermarkets to pay more and charge more. You can’t bring milk from Australia.
