I wouldn’t risk Woodrow if my life depended on it. Imagine? Woodrow out until Feb after picking up an injury playing Everton U21s. In fact if he plays him on Tuesday he should be sacked.

Doubt he’ll play Davies in the cup either be Walton if he’s fit or maybe one of the young lads

That's mental. He needs to play into fitness and form, he should have at least 45 mins.

Woodrow and Fryers need game time so I think they will be involved even if they both come on from the subs bench. It might be a meaningless competition against a team that helped to have make it meaningless but it is still an opportunity to give them game time.

Then a raft of under 23’s and Woodrow on the bench

Guessing Jackson’s injured as he didn’t make the bench yesterday.

I’d imagine Williams will get a game at right back as Cavare’s played virtually every game except the other cup tie

Wouldn’t play Woodrow, certainly for the first 45 minutes while they get a look at the opposition.Last thing we want is him being crocked by some over enthusiastic Everton wannabe .
TBH I’d forfeit if it was possible

Am I missing something with these suggestions of fryers in midfield?

He played there in a pre-season friendly.

He’s one of the most one footed players I’ve ever seen. If he did a decent job as a central midfielder I’d be amazed

Treat the line up like a piss take full of guys who have played little this season.

    Walton
J Williams, Jackson, Pinnock (no idea who 4th choice CB is) and Fryers.
Isgrove (he's back in training so maybe he was saved from the 18 yesterday with this game in mind), Bird, Brown, Hedges
    Woodrow and Adeboyejo

It's tough because you'd have to balance it right enough for the rules etc.

    I'd go for:

    Greatorex (presuming Walton is injured?)

    J. Williams
    Jackson (if fit)
    Lindsay
    B. Williams

    Bahre
    McGeehan
    Bird
    Hedges

    Adeboyejo
    Brown

We are playing against a reserve team. It would be ironic to be penalised for fielding one ourselves, wouldn't it!

You would sack a manager for selecting one player who in your opinion should not play ? That is a ridiculous to the extreme , why not just trust the head coach & medical team to make the right call on the lad .
