has anyone been keeping track of him at Bury. No doubt the staff will have. Just wondering how he is progressing there. He was on their bench yesterday and came on right at the end.
11 appearances league and cup, no goals or assists, most look like sub appearances, according to Transfermarkt. Probably more first team game time than he’d get with us, and Bury seem to be doing fairly well so a good environment to be in. I’d have him in U23s/bench getting experience athis parent club in the New Year though, assuming management think he’s ready and he’s not starting for Bury.
We should have put in the clause that he plays so many minutes of first team football when fit or they pay more towards his upkeep. Just like Scouse gits and Ryan Kent.
Barely started, hardly played and not created a goal for himself or others. Keep him there until the end of the season or find him a league club that will play him more.
Last season in a relegated side he started 9 games, appeared in 11 and accumulated 797 minutes of league action, no goals or assists. This season only started in 2 games, but appeared in 9 and accumulated 338 minutes of league action. As we are only just into November I do see this as progression and being only 18 should feature more than last season. Maybe we cannot recall him, I don't know the terms of the agreement. I just don't want them thinking now as he's not their player anymore that they don't have to nurture him the same way they would if he was still theirs.
