Wondered what other members thoughts are of the system they now have with a rollover rather than redrawing until a participating members number is drawn, have been a member from day one and personally I don't like it.The last 16 weeks only 7 winners granted the winners will be happy but the web site says £1000 weekly.Am I wrong in my thoughts have wrote to club but no response What do you all think.

I'm surprised there's so many rollovers. It wasn't long ago that it was fully subscribed and there was a waiting list. I cancelled after the Johnstone's Paint Trophy fiasco. Maybe I wasn't the only one.

They didn't give Centenary members any priority for the JPT final.

I didn't know that Ponty but I did notice that members didn't get any priority for the Accies game when the official blurb has always said that members had priority after season ticket holders before general sale .
Maybe Beth (who is now in charge ) can explain .

I've been a member since 1996 and am fortunate in that I've won it once, but I must say that the proportion of rollovers is quite extraordinary.
Very roughly 50% of the time, does that point to only half the numbers are sold?
How and when is the draw done and why no rollovers for the two free tickets ?
Must admit I don't like the new system.

Been in it from the start, sure they stated it would be limited to a few thousand members.Anyway I've never won a cracker, but I live in hope and try not to work out how much my outlay has been!!

Yeah, considering cancelling it now. Preferred the old style. Plus they used to do the holiday draw n stuff.

It's always been limited to 1,500 members. When I cancelled in February 2016 it was fully subscribed. A mate of mine said he hoped he would get my number as he was on the waiting list.

I would have thought the term "draw" would imply that only the numbers held would be eligible to be entered.
Sounds to me as though it is more run on lottery basis.

Sorry to be pedantic but Centenary Members did have a 'priority', although last before general sale, at the same time as non season ticket holders with 6 aways.

I had a letter last week saying that my Centenary membership had been linked to my Ticketmaster Client Reference number so that in future, the season ticket discount, and presumably, booking priorities, would be applied automatically when purchasing.
    Good work from the club.

I'm a member, and think only the numbers that are paid up should be in the draw each week. The winner then receives 66% as a prize of the money taken that week.

Not sure about that one mate seeing as when fully subscribed only 33% is paid out. Been a member since start and happy for rollovers tbf. £1000 in 1986 was a really good amount to win. Not saying it’s to be sniffed at..but like the idea of winning more.

Agreed and would be happy with 33%, didn't realise it was £3000 in and £1000 paid out if all the numbers were taken.

After over 30 years, I cancelled my membership about 4-5 months old ago. The info to move to a rollover format was posted on the website, but if you didn’t go looking for it, you’ll be none the wiser. I believe it changed at the start of this year.

When I first joined, there was a max of 1,500 members and at one stage there was a waiting list. So 1,500 * £2 generated the £1,000 weekly prize. There was a quarterly holiday voucher and an annual prize of a car.

The draw information when I decided to leave, on what number was pulled, who won and were they were from, became sketchy at best. I’m sure it was all done above board, but it certainly wasn’t transparent.

Oddly enough, I got my new membership card posted to me the other week. What a waste that is. I ain’t a member.
