Not us it's Sunderland...... https://www.safc.com/news/club-news/2018/october/12-game-season-card Already on sale to make most of the feel good factor and bump home crowds in the second half of the season. Hope we announce something similar but time is running out to give folks in the run up to Christmas to find the spare cash at short notice.
I didn't get a season ticket as its hard to get to most matches on time with working but been on sick leave since May (just gone back) so only missed 2 games, might as well have got one lol.
True but last year they announced the pricing christmas month..... https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2017/december/half-season/ It should be announced sooner the better so those interested have more time to decide.
Hopefully they will announce something soon and it should also have the Burton game in there too as I don't see that being played until next year now, so could push it as a good deal. The price should be the same per game as we season tickets were with the early bird for me. Yes I know those of us who got them early committed when others didn't bit I'm all for making every effort to get folk through the doors.
Don't think it should be at early bird prices because quite a few season ticket holders had to pay the more expensive price because they couldn't commit within a matter of weeks of being told but it should be at regular season ticket price
Not a dig and you don't have to answer, of course, but I'm curious about how you were unable to go to work for 6 months, but able to go to Oakwell?
I had Prostate cancer and had the operation in May, the season didn't start till August and although i wasn't 100% (still not) I was on the mend and rather then sit at home crawling the walls a mate drove to the match and took me and i sat at Oakwell rather then at home. I missed the Plymouth night game and Walsall didn't feel up to it. Back at work now on reduced hours for so long so hopefully i 'll get to the Donny game. Hope this explains it (no offence intended .
Fair enough mate. Glad you’re on the mend. Wasn’t trying to insinuate anything at all regarding your situation, just my curiosity.
It's a good point when you put it that way, can imagine it would upset some. Still think that in itself was a very poor choice, the early bird price should have just been the price. Especially following a relegation, the jump up to the "normal" price was quick and steep and basically felt like a fine on people who didn't get one straight away.
