Captain Keiffer for me, based solely on grainy ifollow footage and opinion from a few who were there.
Smith gets my vote. Didn't play like someone who only signed yesterday and is gone already. Had a really good understanding with his back four, good at kicking and a true sweeper keeper with the amount of times he was nearly out of his area coming for the ball. Deserved his clean sheet and a splendid full stretch save to keep out Pinnock which would have been some own goal.
He did for sure. One of the best was the powerful shot he tipped over early on. It was straight at him but safety first. If he'd tried to grab it, we could have been in trouble if he'd fumbled it or its had gone through him. Early confidence booster. I like this tweet.....
Thought Pinnock was excellent today, as was the defence as a whole. He gets my vote, but couldn't argue against Smith, Moore, Lindsay etc.
I thought Smith handled a number of mainly fairly routine saves very competently, Lindsay and Pinnock were rocks at the back but the game was won because of the indefatigable and ever-threatening Moore (despite his reverse banana shot into the away end).
