something is always getting changed in football. I wonder if this is a good or bad thing though ? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46311379
It's got to be a good thing surely, taking a lifetime to walk 50 yards, high fives and hugging is team on the way off, yeah too right it's a good move
I never went in the place- too young. A mate of mine said one Saturday night the electricity failed, when the lights came back on someone had done a proper walnut whip in the middle of the dancefloor .Barnsley was a laugh a minute in the 70's
Great idea. Physios have to get off the pitch as quick as possible and walk around to their dugout, so why not players? They can still get an applause or standing ovation so that part won't stop. Just the match will be already restarted.
You always know which player will be subbed cos he’s furthest from the dugout - I’ve said many times to my brother that they should do as the physios do (off the pitch at the nearest point). If this comes in, it’ll be the player in the centre of the pitch.
If this is an international rule, then it might not be safe for the substituted players in certain countries/games. Have you seen the fans in Greece, Turkey, Serbia, Argentina and others.
Drop the yellow cards or should I say a yellow is a 10 minute sin bin style off, another yellow following a time out is off off, confused myself their
Maybe they can choose which way to walk back? It doesn’t really matter how long it takes them to get back so long as they are off the pitch quickly.
