Credit to them - they passed the ball around well and their movement off the ball was good. They'll be up there at the end of the season
Agreed. Thought they came to attack and for large parts of the game their pressing game was better than our half baked efforts.
Thought they played well, but also thought it was a case of them lifting their game today. Their big forward with the bun in his head is the worse forward I’ve seen for a while. The number of times he was caught offside today. Our poor decision making and poor passing was a constant today. I don’t think they’ll be in the mix at the end of the season.
Best side we’ve played at home, I’d say. They’d clearly done their homework on Cavare’s inability to track back. Surprised they didn’t capitalise on it early on.
They played well but I thought it was more a case that we were woeful. As tarntyke said, our amount of unforced errors was unbelievable today. We kept losing the ball through needless bad passing in the final third and middle and giving them breaks on a plate. And they still couldn't beat us. I was glad when the final whistle went, I'd had enough.
Grant McCann in his interview said they singled Cavaré out in the second half as someone who 'ran forward and walked back.' Pretty scathing...
