Think Thiam or Moncur should be starting ahead of him anyway at the moment. Feel sorry for the lad though, seems to have no luck with injuries.
I’m a big fan of Ryan he reminds me a little of Marley Watkins, but he was dreadful on Saturday and has been most of the season so far. Maybe this broken toe explained his performance on Saturday? Who knows. However, he needs to up his game if he wants a contract extension or he will be released at the end of the season.
If the broken toe was the problem on Saturday for his performance then he should have informed the bench. Then Pinnolos could have stopped on instead of him
Had little luck with injuries. Can't see him here beyond the end of the season and think we will look to ship him out in January as a fringe player, to release some funds to strengthen.
Donny always seem to injure our players. Remember McPhail ? I like Hedges - but left back isn’t his position. I think he’s better playing as a striker/winger.
Felt like he was trying too hard to impress rather than play his natural game. Stupid to move him to left back, happened once out of necessity but shouldn’t be happening when we’ve got 3 natural left backs in the squad
Should be looking to move him onto a League Two club in January. Nowhere good enough last season and not looking much better this season.
Is isgrove injured again aswell or just not getting picked? I agree I like hedges but it just isn't working out here for him he hasn't done enough in the last 2 seasons for a renewed contract and isgrove what is the point in paying a wage to someone who makes half a dozen appearances a year.
Isgrove is ill according to the official site - he really doesnt seem to be availlable for many games does he - I cant see us being able to move him until his contract expires but then I think he will struggle to get a club - unless on a pay as you play deal - he is just too often out
