NFL players will probably only be involved for about 15 mins every match because there is offensive and defensive players rugby players are both which imo makes them much better than NFL players

NFL has most concussions because the tackles are head on and there’s less regard due to the padding and helmets. Problem is that doesn’t actually stop the brain decelerations at a rate that causes the damage.
The NHL hit’s have been proven to be 17% harder even though the average weight of an NHL player is 20% less.
The actual contact of the hit is distributed over a larger area and contact with the head is now outlawed throughout the world.

i think you'll find rugby league tackles are head on and theres little regard of the effect it has on the victim ;-)

Geez, it's like watching NFL in the 1960s, why don't many black guys play rugby? The haka that New Zealand athletes do is badass, that's about the only good thing I have to say about rugby.
American Football takes more brains, more skill and no one cares that rugby players don't wear helmets.

That said, each to their own. If you enjoy rugby or any sport I hope you have a good time while you watch it, it's all fun and love.

I’m a big fan of Rugby League, my Dad, Uncle and a couple of other family members all played pro/semi pro.
You don’t see the head shots as much nowadays.

Brains and skill? Neither of those attributes are evident in American football it's more of a show than a sport

Please. They have games at Wembley and show it on TV because it's been gaining popularity in the UK over the last few years.

There seems to be a consensus in this country that American = Bad. I'm not sure where it came from, but not everything that has originated in the US is evil.

heres gadwin springer, cas tigers, black enough for ya? lol, theres plenty of black players in league mate..

i've tried to watch american football and its beyond me how on earth anyone can even be remotely interested in it over here especially when we have rugby league on our doorstep, league is far more entertaining and physical.

crash helmets arn't for ball games,i can understand them in ice hockey but a poncy version of football, nope i just dont get it.

Personal preference. I think Rugby is the most boring **** to watch, but I enjoy NFL and also enjoy cricket, which a lot of people think is extremely boring. Some people enjoy different things, difficult as that might be to believe.

Gaining popularity? Really? I thought it peaked in the 90’s when people wore the merchandise...

If you perceive that it gained popularity, it’s because the “franchising” needs more money... so they push it onto us...

They have games at Wembley to push the “Brand”.

Not everything from the US is evil, I don’t actually care that they are trying to bring it here, just that I’d rather watch some other sport that was already more popular...
