Feel abit for George put in some good performances this season peterbourgh away especially. If we are going one up top he should be in the starting 11. On Saturday he must of been sat there thinking how have I not started.
It's got to the stage where he's had plenty of opportunities both at this level and in the Championship. There's no doubt that he has talent that can make a difference at both levels. However, he still hasn't nailed down a place in the team so it's not just most of us but also three managers who are unconvinced. A two year contract at a sensible price but certainly not silly money. I'd like to keep him while we're in the third tier as he offers that bit of flair at times.
Voted yes, but he is only as super sub. As such he is great. I agree Bahre is struggling to get with English football. I' d rather have Woodrow up front with Moore
No. Had plenty of time to stake a claim and never made it work on a consistent basis sadly. Would let him go at end of the season on current form.
If we are going one up top id have him ahead of Bahre at the moment but agree our best side at the moment is a 442 and he doesn't fit in that.
My favourite player, got to give him a new contract or we will look back and regret it. Same as bahre he isn't a winger, a striker or a Central midfielder but a manager soon will realise his best position and get the best out of a very talented player.
Luton game on sky was man of match by a country mile and ran the game for 65 minutes. Bahre got mentioned twice on sky in first half. Checkatrade Bradford game moncur again two goals in a young team then doesn't figure since but bahres back in. Summat not right somewhere .
To be fair Moncur's been playing on the left this season and Bahre mainly off the front man. Wouldn't see it as Bahre replacing Moncur.
His first touch is that of a Premier League no.10. and he is certainly good enough for a top, attack-minded Championship side.. Most of our best football comes with him on the pitch. Through my many years of watching the Reds, I have noticed that the most highly gifted players often come in for more criticism than the moderately talented workhorses. There almost seems to be a suggestion that the clever players are simply not trying, if they do not produce their best form all of the time.
Its a yes from me , you need all sorts of players to make a balanced squad, take George away & we take out one option completely , frustrating as he can be, he is a talented player & no one else in the squad posess what he offers.
There’s no doubting his ability, it’s all about his wages, if we can afford to keep him as an impact player & someone who can’t do 90 minutes regularly then yes keep him. He can be a game changer for us. If he’s on or expecting top wages like a Kieffer Moore then I’d have to say get rid
