    Any recommendations?

Looks like we will be in Penistone on Saturday evening with a few hours to kill.

Not a massive amount to be fair.

There's an indian in the town centre called Cinnamon Spice that is decent. Also another indian at the traffic lights called of Taste of India

Theres a bistro opposite the legion. Can't remember its name.

Cubley Hall does food and is a couple of miles out of the town centre. Ditto the Wagon and Horses at Oxpring. Both about a 5 minute drive from the cinema.

White Heart at the traffic lights is good, although VERY expensive. Italian restaurant, Ti Amo literally 50/100 yards down the road from the White Heart

My local, the Huntsman at Thurlstone do food on a Tuesday night. Barnsley CAMRA Real Ale pub of the season if you like that sort of thing. Again, about a 5 minute drive from the cinema

In fairness there's a decent chippy called the 3 friers just down from the Cinema that do decent chips, burgers, kebabs etc.

Cinnamon Spice is very good as is Ti Amo. Food at Cubley Hall is ok and White Heart decent but pricey.

Cheers all, I think him indoors is fancying a curry. We'd probably have gone to Thurlstone for a real ale, but obviously that won't be necessary if he's driving!

I eat in or take away from there 3 or so times per month. It's still very good.
