It's £10. That's all - just £10. You get uninterrupted HD quality picture and our own commentary. Or maybe you would rather have a jerky, grainy, often dropping out foreign broadcast?
Ticket price for this one was super. £33 for ticket and coach. You pay 50+ for that shithole darn road
To be honest, "uninterrupted HD quality picture" doesn't quite convey my last experience, which was paying a tenner to watch the camera being waved in the general direction of the pitch for 90 minutes. Even better, for half the match the game was conducted through what looked like a thick fog, with breaks every few minutes to wipe raindrops off the lens with a damp cloth. Probably up there as one of the worst value for money experiences I've bought this year. At least the grainy foreign broadcasts don't have the brass neck to charge me the price of a cinema ticket. Still buying it again tonight, mind. So I suppose they won in the end.
I’ve only done it once this season and that was the Shrewsbury match. Terrible choice but the service was very good. I know what you mean about dodgy camera work and lens wiping - I’ve seen that on some broadcasts like those on Facebook. Never understood what the fascination was with rapid zooming in on a corner flag or Bapps for Bolts hoardings. Hopefully tonight will be a professional product with football to match from the Reds
I am stuck at Madrid airport waiting to get back to Heathrow but will be following the game. Worse places to be stuck but I was also due to fly direct from Rome this afternoon to Heathrow so needs must and the bar is calling! You Reds!!!!
