You can mirror your screen on chromecast and do it that way. https://www.techadvisor.co.uk/how-to/google-android/how-mirror-android-on-chromecast-3633636/
No. I don't think so. I tried last time and there's no dedicated Chromecast symbol on the screen HOWEVER I did get it to my tv by clicking on the symbol on the Google Chrome screen first (if that's what you use) to get it on to the tv and then going into the BFC and Ifollow pages, logging on where necessary, and then maximising the visible screen to the tv. I can't remember if it actually filled the tv screen or whether there were some of the Windows bars showing but it was ok. That was the Shrewsbury game so I'm hoping for a different score and performance tonight for my ten quid !
Yes, me too! I was really pleased with myself for getting the broadcast. Soon changed all that though! I'm in for tonight's game as well. It's only 77 miles for me up to SAFC but on a freezing cold night a warm computer screen appeals more.
Sky Q need to get their act together and get an ifollow app on the box. It can be done too as they have with Netflix, youtube, spotify ect.
Anyone know if you have it on your iphone/ipad can you send it to the TV with one of those apple hdmi cable senders - Sky Go doesnt work with them as theres something in the app that blocks a hdmi signal, but screen mirroring does normally eg through a browser? not bothered about watching on phone or ipad but would watch if could send to tv.
I couldnt get the ipad to work with an apple TV box - it could throw the sound but not the video. Last season the full match replay could be mirrored - I havent tried that this season but I definitely couldnt get the live video stream to work Trying to decide if I can be bothered to hook my laptop up via an HDMI cable or just watch in on my computer monitor in the study
As most of the above might as well be Swahili to me, I just connect the laptop to the tv with a hdmi lead and its full screen as if it were on sky, might not be all high tech n stuff but it works spot on
