To be fair to the lads they showed heart and big balls to give it what they have at 3-0 down in first half hour

Could've completely thrown the towel in and up until a few mins ago thought theyd rescue a point. We need to strengthen at the back in January. Cavaré is too hit and miss.

Credit for getting back into it, but as soon as we made it 3-2 the urgency vanished. No desire to get an equaliser, just aimless balls to no-one, Sunderland man winning the loose ball every time. Pathetic.

The fact that they didn’t get over run, and in fact managed to turn it around and outplay Sunderland for the rest of the match is a positive. I worried for us at 3-0 down that it would be a result we would struggle to bounce back from.

Bad result. One of those games. Terrible ref. And Cavare needs a rest and get his head right or move on in January.

Nothing to do with the fact that they panicked and sat back? Because that's what I saw.

Agree with the consensus. I enjoyed the game a lot more than the scoreline would suggest. I thought we were excellent for long periods and it was shades of how we started the season. Lots of positives to take from that and well worth my tenner.

I am just wondering why we can't play with that tempo every game. We did at the start of the season and are clearly capable of doing so. So why the several weeks of it being nowhere to be seen. Hope we don't need to go behind before we start to play.
