Wrong to use the word straight, Chisora’s isn’t either. He eats right hands regularly & cant do it against Wilder

He’s a far better boxer than Wilder, he punches as hard a Wilder.

Just because you say AJ is a robot doesn’t mean he is one.

AJ has his weaknesses of course he does. But AJ has beaten pretty much every one in the division all top 10s and comfortably, Wilder hasn’t.

I’m saying AJ is a significant step up in class from Wilder. It would be hardest fight Fury has had. Did I say AJ would destroy Fury?

No I said it would be close but I think AJ would win.

Ok so AJ against wlad wasn’t anyway comfortable!! His fight with takam which I was at aswell as the Parker fight both slow and ponderous and as a huge boxing fan i say Joshua is a robotic boxer because he is he walks in straight lines and doesn’t move his head fury would jab his head off and the power wilder possesses is greater that AJ look at what heavyweights that have sparred with both have said..

Would be a excellent fight to see. Wilder hits harder than AJ and Fury had the chin to take it (just) so AJ would need to out box him and I don't think he could if Tyson was on his A game. It would be great to watch and neither result would suprise me. Can't see it happening though with all the network issues it would bring and purse splits. I'm sure Eddie is working on a reason why he'll be hoping Fury and Wilder rematch so he can keep AJ away longer. Doesn't want to risk his cash cow.

I believe Wilder beats AJ, it's not about not liking him. I do like AJ, I think he's awesome to watch because he can pummel someone spectacularly but looks capable of getting blown out at the same time. We are lucky to have three genuine top heavyweights at the same time, after some lean years. But it's time for AJ to step up now and fight one of the other two, like they've done. Until he fights Wilder or Fury, he can't claim to be the best. Fury still is, even without a belt. He showed that last night.

I used to post on here years ago about Fury and I was mocked for saying he'd be the best. I'm glad others now see it right also.

Whyte would get smashed early by Wilder. I like Dillian too, but I'm saying what I think. Wilder would nail him much like AJ did. A very green AJ too.

I think the main trio are streets ahead of the rest.

I think Fury beats AJ, but I don't think Hearn will allow us to find out.

Fury doesn't seem like he wants to fight AJ at all. Plus he said he wouldn't for less than 60% which is a complete joke.

Seriously YT, there’s no way on this earth Wilder beats AJ.

Wilder is nothing more than a gun slinger.

I don’t understand how anybody who has watched a number of Wilder fights thinks he’s any good.

All the pundits last night including King Lennox thought Wilder was crap. This isn’t a new phenomenon. Wilder is crap and always has been. The only fighter pre Fury he’s fought was Ortiz, who nearly 40 had one fight in the 18 months leading up to it and nearly beat him.

How anyone can think Wilder can beat AJ is just daft.

I understand that AJ doesn’t move his head enough, but he’s far better defensively than Wilder, has a better jab and has around the same power. Wilder wouldn’t go 12 rounds with AJ. Remember, Wilder hasn’t been hit by a hard punching heavyweight, like AJ has. He was nearly knocked out by Ortiz. It’s a shame Fury doesn’t hit like a big heavyweight or Wilder wouldn’t have gone 5 rounds last night.

Funny how people applaud Fury for out boxing an opponent and winning on points, but when AJ does it against another World Champion he’s slow and ponderous. AJ waltzed through Parker easily, showing skill and professionalism.

How would Wilder have done against Wlad in the condition he was in?

    No contest at all.

Agree on Joshua been a better boxer than Wilder but he’s not a bigger puncher, Wilder can spark out top 30 fighters with one punch, Joshua’s more of an accumulation puncher. A couple of journeymen aside he’s never taken someone out with one punch.

That’s why I’ve always felt Joshua would struggle with Fury as Fury’s very hard to hit repeatedly, you have to badly hurt him with the first punch or he’ll manoeuvre his way out of danger, he’s not going to be on the end of a barrage of punchers like a Dillian Whyte or Dominic Brezeale

Wilder could easily beat AJ he was one second away on two occasions last night. He can't take any heavyweight put with one punch he's so dangerous. Would he beat AJ? I'd say it's a 50/50 and basically who lands big first. Would be a great fight. There are two top Heavyweights for AJ to fight now. Until he steps up and gives it a go I have very little interest in his fights. AJ could beat them both or lose the real question is are matchroom going to be made to step up by the public?

    I’d say it’s 20% Wilder 80% AJ.

    I give him a 20% punchers chance, that’s all.

Yes he nearly had Fury last night and that’s because Fury gave him the chance to hit him. AJ would have him out of there well in advance.

Remember AJ has only been the distance once in 20 fights. He’s knocked out, Wlad, Whyte, Breazale, Martin, Takam, and Povetkin, who are all far better than Wilder has fought, apart from Fury and Ortiz although Ortiz wouldn’t beat Povetin, Wlad and maybe Whyte.

Find it unbelievable that people don’t think AJ can punch. Just ask Wlad about it, whose head nearly came off.

Of course he can punch and puts good combinations together. You would have to ask AJ how hard Wlad punches as Fury wouldn't know he couldn't get close to him. It's hard to compare in that way.
Whatever the odds the big question is will AJ actually get in the ring with either of them? Fury and Wilder put it all on the line last night credit to them both. That's what I want the best wanting to fight the best and prove it. Up to AJ to step up now and stop ducking, but we'll likely see him fight Whyte instead.

I think lennox Lewis hit the nail on the head when he gave credit to fury for going over to America to fight wilder and said AJ could have fought wilder in London to unify the division if he had wanted it.....

He called him out after the fight last night.
You're right about Fury's power. He's clearly not pillow-fisted as some will tell you, because I didn't see Wlad nor Wilder last night walking straight through him. They both actually looked scared of his punches, so he must clearly hurt. But he doesn't sit on his punches anymore. He doesn't really commit to knocking these top fighters out as he believes he can win by out-boxing them. Which he can, so long as he doesn't get tagged.

But you're right. Imagine if he did go for KO's, if he had their explosive power. He'd be unbeatable. But that's the reason I love that we've three at the top now, because they all bring something different to the table.

I think AJ's strength and ability to fight on the inside would give him some joy against Fury, that Wilder didn't have. But AJ is a plodder, Bruno-esque, bit like Wlad even, robotic in his movement. That would allow Tyson to out-box him. I'd pick Tyson over Josh, but it's a 50/50 if I'm being honest, and when the bell rings, much like last night, I'd have no idea what would happen. Again, that's why it's good right now. But only IF Hearn lets his golden goose take Wilder and Fury on.

I believe the Wilder/Fury rematch would be much more boring. Wilder wouldn't swing as often. Fury would be fitter and nick the rounds again. In the UK, in those circumstances, he'd win on points. I believe Deontay will go for AJ instead. And in fairness, as big and exciting a fight it would be, between AJ and Tyson, I'd rather see Wilder vs Josh. Two bangers. Then Fury has the winner.

That's it - Wilder vs Joshua in April, Fury on the undercard against Whyte (assuming he beats Chisora). Winner vs Winner this time next year or summer 2020.

    Beautiful.
