    Enjoys the pay packet though. Sorry, might come across as harsh but I'm not going to waste my sympathy on someone so well paid who gives next to nothing in return.

    What has he given though? 10 starts in 65 league games and in plenty of those he might as well have not bothered.

    It’s not rocket science, he needs to have a change of luck with injuries, and then like most players returning from injury, he needs a run of games without interruption. Whether that happens or not remains to be seen. Like I posted earlier I don’t know the lad, but he can’t be enjoying the lack of games and the constant rehab.

    Has he shat in your garden or something? Do you think he's forging his mam's signature on a sick note to get out of playing?

    About once a fortnight there's a thread painting him as a shirker and a waste of time, space, and the bottom line, money. Is that support?

    You are not wrong, but I'd like to add on the following, for the sake of completeness:

    plus 2 FA Cup
    plus 2 League Cup
    plus 11 Other (including 8 with us - mainly EFL Trophy and L1 play-off games)

    Total 64 appearances (source: soccerbase.com)

    Okay, still not a great stat, but not quite as bad as 47 suggests.
    As things stand, he's our player and I'm happy for the club to provide whatever support he needs to get back into the side on a regular basis.

    I’d imagine he’s absolutely devastated he can’t stay fit. He loved been part of the play off winning team & was one of the friendliest players I’ve met. Even judging off social media & the type of player he was on the pitch you can see he loves playing.

    You didn't really address the previous post with that response though. No ones asking you to give sympathy. But the constant posts implying that at best, he's happy sat on the bench, and at worst, choosing to avoid playing, are blummim crackers.

    Well knock me down with a feather. Started this post because he hasn't featured and was told he was out for six weeks. Delighted he is at least on the bench it will do his confidence the word of good.
