Erm then if the French being a nuclear power is your worry, wouldn't it make more sense to remain in the EU with them as an economic and diplomatic ally?

Oh, and the majority of the railways within EU nations are publically-owned. In fact, the German and French states own some of our own infrastructure in the UK.

you seem to forget that a tory government sent pro remain propaganda to every single household in the country.

the country has always been divided on the issue and the result of the referendum showed this, even tho a majority of 1.5 million was a considerable amount in favour of leave.
What has gone on since is nothing less than a concerted effort by both the government and the eu to make leaving look as unattractive as possible,it is all part of the master plan to keep us tied in.

Natives in other countries are growing restless with the EU,i go to france every year and for the last two years the country was littered with 'Frexit' posters and stickers in the back of cars stating the same, germans may be laughing at 'mr brexit' but i can assure you the french, dutch, spaniards and even belgians are not,, not in my experience anyway because as soon as i pulled up anywhere with the motorhome, people would see the british plates and invariably the conversation would soon be about brexit and overall the vast majority who i spoke to were of the same opinion as the leave voters over here.

I can't understand why people like you can vote for something that you haven't got a clue how it will turn out . I blame :
    Tony 'open the borders' Blair.

David Cameron for the referendum . We vote in politicians to make tough decisions for us .

Teresa May for an unnecessary election .

they arnt a few nationals tho marlon, the french election was close and a far right candidate was close to getting in,polls in france now suggest she would walk in,the french people see the eu as forcing austerity upon themselves whilst at the same time using their money, paid by taxes to help prop up weaker economies,

macron has publicly stated that if he were to hold a 'frexit' referendum then the french people would vote to leave.it is not a few nationals pal.

i'd also add that these massive. anti eu propaganda campaigns are nothing compared to the massive pro remain campaigns and propaganda that is sponsored by the eu and various governments.

It was atory govt that feked my community up and dismissed and opposed policies that tried to help us .
Only the EU over rode some of their decisions to try and at least demand monies spent on our communities and for Tories to now tell me it’s all EUs fault and their attacking our communities .
Well I know who I believe as I’ve had dealings with the Tory party most of my life and they are nothing but shithouses

She as sold us ( brexiteer) down the river IMO, she is a remainer ( nothing wrong with that btw) it's just like the Scottish football manager giving England's team talk. A weak negotiator and a poor pm but for me it's a case of rock and a hard place because I don't know who or what the alternative is in relation to running the country, as long as I have a hole in my arse I could never vote for Labour as long as comrade sh%^byn is the leader

I’m a bit confused that the eu won’t allow us to renationalise the railways - they do (& have big stakes in our railways & energy). Turkeys voting for Xmas & bringing their own stuffing & cranberry sauce or lemmings walking off the cliff together- choose you own description but, let me be clear, in the national interest - we’re beggared if we leave!

the eu was involved in the destruction of our major industries just as much as the tories, same as they destroyed the mining and steel in france, netherlands belguim and spain, all these countries had strong unions ties within these industries, the eu is a capitalist organisation and does not like strong trade unions, they eu even prevents state aid to these industries other than running them down and replacing them with things like warehousing and service industries, that is why you see see eu money being paraded when a warehouse is built.

just remember that these tories, which you destest(as do I)are pro remain,it was they who sent you the propaganda urging you to vote remain

eu state aid laws are against state aid except where it help the economy, ie,they pick and choose where they allow it, that is, they wont allow it for major industries like coal and steel (where there are strong unions) but will allow it for public transport

the eu is against nationalisation as it is supposed to contradict competition laws.

It’s pretty straightforward to nationalise industries whilst being in the EU (not that’s an argument for remaining). Things like the 4th Railway Directive were repealed when Govts objected.

Fishing Rights sold by Blair not the EU.

Europeans army. If only we knew a country with a veto that could stop that ever happening. Anyone know a country like that. Anyone...

Turkey even farage has stopped peddling that lie.

Undemocratic they have these things called elections you have a vote.

Nationalisation. Of course France and Germany have no nationalised industries. None.

    Other than that spot on.

i know you know what you are talking about and you are well researched, but my understanding is that, typical of eu law, it is very subjective and open to interpretation.
