I'd say he's earnt that, played in many different positions in his first season getting first team action.

Definitely worth signing up at this stage. Can play a couple of positions & will keep improving.

Agreed and I think he could make the step up to Championship level though we wont know for sure until he has a go of course

Agree, tremendous attitude and still developing. That finish against P'boro was one of the best bits of skill from one of our strikers I've seen in a good while.

Which baffles me as we seem to now he trying to turn him into a wingback.

I think the fullbacks are vital to Stendels style of play, and with Cavare's liability status more evident game by game, its interesting to see this is a stop gap, or to broaden his appreciation of team play, or a full time switch. He seems to be a decent crosser of a ball, something we desperately lacking, but I must admit, I'd like to see him develop as a front man. A turn of pace, nice touch, but we'll see what Stendel does, he sees the raw attributes day in day out after all.

Our wingbacks seem to pretty much play as wingers though .

Good bit of business by the board. Just need Stendel to use him as a forward not full back now.

We just need a right back to turn into a centre forward n' the cycle will be complete. Has anyone got a clue?

This deal looks great on the surface. One of our own n' all that jazz.

Why didn't we sign Ivan Toney as one for the future? Because he was **** perhaps.

Whats he doing now? Rattling em' in and guess what there's room in the squad for a centre forward.

I digress. Where is and what is the thought process right now?

The point is he has done well in the games he has featured in overall. We pump a sh1tload of money in our academy, but barring notible exceptions of Stones & Holgate, we've seen little out of it, as previous managers have favoured loaning players from bigger clubs, like Ugbo, Barnes, Kent, etc
I agree with supporting our own. That's what we used to do in the 80's, when we brought through players like Banks & McCarthy.
