    Needs to up his game as he's on easy street this season.

    That said I think we're crying out to play 3 centre backs with Jackson just behind pinnock and Lindsay

    I would prefer Pinnock as the deep ch .
    He is the best ball player plus you then have a right/left combo as the pair .

    I can't see why we don't try all three. It would mean cavre and pinillos could push up as wing backs and mean potts mcgheeghan and mowatt could all play on middle.

    I know they may no put make great wing backs but surely worth a try given our lack of wingers, and fact we have 3 excellent cm and 3 excellent cb

    I go with the Andy Richie school of thought.. you only play 3 center halfs when you dont think the 2 are up to it..

    It certainly did serve us well once.

    I get the point re only go 3 if 2 doesn't work but same logic would be go 3 or 5 if 4 doesn't work.
