    On the back of some fella claiming we may be signing a player? All joking aside in this thread I’m not sure I’ll be writing off our promotion hopes on the back of a rumour that may well be complete horse *****. I have a little more faith in the club and team than that.

    Given we sit 7th. With a game in hand. With 25 games or so left to play I don’t think “we can now all pretty much accept we aren’t going to get promoted this season”... some might. But imagine they’re the usual vociferous minority.

    By miraculous I assume you mean the form that has had us in top 6 for most of the season so far? Miraculous would be going from bottom to top 6. Going from 7th to top 6 would hardly be “miraculous”. Odd.

    I wouldn’t get worked up about it. He’s been on trial this week I don’t think the club see him as a signing who will ensure our promotion. Just another player who they might see future profit in.

    Look at our form over the past 5 games (17th) last 10 games (13th) so yes I do feel it would be miraculous if we can turn it around now into promotion form.

    We are 12 points off the top already and have now all of a sudden found games tough to compete in and even when we have been dominate we have still not been getting results.
