Absolutely. I’m already trying to work out where we will be if we lose the next 3, and all other results go against us. Confused why you are questioning if we shouldn’t?
I won't celebrate finishing sixth. Some might. It's not up to me to dictate personal ambitions for the club but I will only consider top two a success.
So, according to you finishing sixth and then going on to win at Wembley again would not be a successful conclusion to a really enjoyable season? Oh, and you wouldn't be going to Wembley to see it? What a bizarre attitude you have
It doesn't look like it. No well done Reds. No positive post. No well done McGeehan. No well done back 4 on another clean sheet. No well done Davies for a couple of decent saves. Just a big fat, 'we'll be 8th if we lose and the club has 'bottomed out' Do you enjoy a win?
Has the season been really enjoyable? I've seen four wins and eleven goals in nine home games. Where has the assumption that we are going to win at Wembley come from?
Agree. Boooooooooo. We should be winning every match and nothing else will do. Booooooo. Well said Conan. I’m protesting until we get into top 2. Sick of this whole thing. I don’t watch football for an enjoyable day out, to see friends old and new, to cheer the last minute winners and curse the last second losses. You’d have to be a right sad ******* to actually enjoy matches rather than demanding a certain level of achievement in order to dictate your satisfaction and enjoyment levels. Glad you’re here to keep this board alive. Would really die a death without your voice.
Haha ok no worries....by the way there’s a party going on at ours and folk won’t leave, you couldn’t nip round and start chatting to them would you pal? ...only joking CT, I’ll leave it there, try have a good Christmas and happy new year
Before the match I said we could be eighth by tonight - which I believe was factually correct. You should note I said "could". Haven't seen any of the game so I can't really comment. I haven't praised McGeehan (I haven't seen the goal) but at the same time I haven't criticised Moore for being wasteful yet again.
An asteroid COULD have struck the stadium and wiped out both sets of players. Tonight, I will enjoy the fact that it didn't happen. Well done Reds for not getting killed by space debris. Dreading Boxing Day though. A brown bear COULD run on the pitch and rip Adam Davies' arms off.
Yes, it has mostly been enjoyable. Some great football and loads of goals. I've never seen so many 4-0 wins in the first half of a season before. In comparison to the years of struggle at second division level (there have been plenty of these) this season has been much better. No one is "assuming" that we will win at Wembley. All I am saying is that finishing sixth gives us an equal chance of repeating the achievement of before. Even if we failed it would still be a relatively successful season. I've been around long enough to know that there are no guarantees. I have no idea how long you have been watching the Reds but I do question why you bother at all with such a negative outlook. Maybe you should knock it on the head and go shopping on Saturdays, or watch whatever passes for afternoon TV entertainment in your house.
I'm not going to say we're going to do this or not do that. We may miss out on automatic, even play offs..... but are we honestly saying Luton are uncatchable? I'm not.
