....... the CEO has pi.ssed off one great Barnsley manager to the extent that he jumped ship onto the first available boat passing by.

I would hate it if the CEO was able to do the same again.

If Danny Boy is ok with the sale of Potts and the future of the club ....... then so am I.

    In Daniel Stendel we trust.

I too think Stendel is a top bloke. But selling your better players is pulling the carpet from under him at a crucial point in the season
We fans are disappointed at the attitude and lack of ambition by the club, I imagine he and the other players are a bit peed off too. What will Potts sale have on morale at the club..

It would be good to hear more from Ganaye.
But the bottom line comes when Daniel talks about selling players and why the players have been sold.
And I hope this is an honest open interview.

Daniel needs to be asked these two simple questions about Brad Potts:

    1) why was he sold ?
    2) did you agree with the sale ?

If he gives a poor answer to either of those questions then some supporters will start to question their loyalty to the club and owners.

Or you might. Do you have to frame everything like you're writing a tabloid leader?

I actually rang DS tonight...he was in the shower I think, so it was not easy to be precise bearing in mind how Danny Boy's english is not great...but to be fair its miles in front of my german, but I asked him those very questions....I'm pretty certain he said " he was sold to deliberately p**s Young Nudger off...and to see if he would question his loyalty to the club and owners.
When I asked him the second question I think he said..."as long as it winds Nudge up, I don't give a flying ****.

How on earth do you put Stendel in the "great" category?
He's only been here six months. He seems sound enough and has a squad of players that should be in the top six...in the top six.
I've got nothing at all against him but it's amusing to see one or two already elevating him to godlike status. They'll be calling him one of our own next. Prior, of course, to vilifying him if he ultimately either fails or moves on to a bigger club.

Whatever people's views on the Potts sale/transfer dealings, I hope you will join with me in finding Ripper's post (No 7) disgraceful racial stereotyping. It has no place on this board.

WTF is wrong with some of you lot.

Is it just me that knows the Frenchman is getting his orders from the two from China and the blokes from America,
Or is it just that young nudger is a clueless willy topper ?.

    Is that better?

Seriously I don’t know how the **** some of you cope in real life if you find the original post offensive, do you walk round with your fingers in your ears just in case. Dear me.

Why didn't you just refer to a Frenchman, Chinese and American in your original post? I'm not accusing you of anything but going to the trouble of describing them the way you did does seem a bit daft.

No we don’t - but we also don’t condone the use of vile racial language and are perfectly entitled to call out small minded, ill educated folk like you when you do.

If you don’t see an issue with your first post, it’s you with the problem. You ought to be embarrassed and ashamed. The fact you aren’t says a lot.

I sincerely hope an admin has read this thread or will soon, as I suspect you will be taking a break from this forum.

Whilst I totally agree that the post was 'thinly veiled racism' and totally unnecessary' I am not sure how, by definition "kitchen sink" or "yank" "is
'racial stereotyping' !! Tasteless rhyming slang yes, but stereotyping?

The tone of that post seemed to me clearly derogatory, with the comments linked to the nationality of the people referred to. The general air of disrespect for others is compounded by the gratuitous insults towards Young Nudger. While many disagree with Nudger's posts (I often do) it's possible to do so without resort to the type of needless insults the poster used.

I don’t know WTF as happened to the would, when did Chink and Yank become a racist slur? Are you actually sure it is ?. Have you check with the Chinese and Americans? Am I still a Brit or is that offensive towards myself, I’m not sure anymore I can’t keep up.
