    Would be a great signing but would imagine he’ll cost a lot of money and will have admirers from the Championship.

    Also, didn’t he sign a new contract at the end of last season ?

    Would be a superb signing. But just signed a new contract at Fleetwood.

    Not sure on their financial situation, but if we signed Hunter & Jack payne for what we sold Potts for then that would get a huge thumbs up from me.

    Can’t see it though. Think signings will be young loans or from the continent.

    Payne is on more money at Hudds than our wage structure would allow and Fleetwood who are owned by that rich energy company owner would want more for Hunter than we got for Potts so, whilst I agree that both would be positive signings, I think unlikely.

    GG's statement about 'investment in the short term' would suggest loans.

    Sadly, I don't think the strategy involves paying over £1.5m for anyone - hope I'm wrong like.

    If it does, why don't we be buy that Mbappe fella. I reckon if we keep him for six months and nurture him on gegenpressing we could still get Pep to buy him at a profit come the summer.

    Maybe in the championship that could happen the strategy is buying unpolished diamonds and and selling on for a profit the further up the food chain the more they’ll cost as we look for a better calibre and that in turn ups our revenue

    I think We have been keen for some time we were looking at him when we got promoted. Would have been alot cheaper then mind.

    Don't see us requiring a player of that ilk it seems. Sounds fairly familiar though.

    Sounds like there may be a little more to this than 1st thought. Even though Barton says he has received no bids. Maybe he will receive 1 sooner than he/we think
