He only made his debut last season - he's probably on about £500 a week. Multiply that by 7 and it's not that much for a striker with 14 goals just after Christmas. Hes decent but has hardly played over recent years due to injury. Brought in to replace their player who went off the other day.

Would be good if Sunderland lose Maja and Pompey lose Lowe. They’ll probably sell for £5m plus though. Maja out of contract end of season though. Be interesting to see what happens. One things for sure if we don’t strengthen I think automatics will be out of reach. I’m still confident the club have something planned regards players in.
Having plans are all well and good. It's the execution of those plans we sometimes struggle with. Be nice to have a plan that puts us on the front foot for once!
