Just on 3rd episode and got to say very enjoyable Especially when it shows them getting battered at oakwell 0-3 Anyone else watched it and what did you think Sounds like a decent owner Sunderland have got who doesn’t want to spend money they haven’t got
Watched it with my kids over Christmas. If you enjoyed the Oakwell episode there is another treat to come! I didn't like them showing the table and Barnsley hovering in and around the relegation zone but it brought back the "The must win " feel I had each game as we just the previous one. The bit with Ben Williams was very insightful. I can totally see why some players struggle to settle .
Started and I think a couple of episodes in. Interesting viewing and a different viewpoint to the usual fly on the wall footy docs where teams are successful. Looking forward to rest of series.
the owners have offered josh maja 7 times his salary to sign a new contract he turned that down after agreeing to sign
He’s on a youth player salary of around £500/pw. I’m not saying £3,500 a week is peanuts but imagine his agent can find him two or three times that in the championship.
Very good show and a great insight into how poorly a football club can be run. Much better than the Man City one.
