Give over you plank. I’m sure he’ll be in their appologising now for handing Burnley the win. Read the rest of it you utter pillock. Although I’m not too surprised...
He flew in out of desperation it was a daft one to give away, but he played well for the entire 90 minutes and without him and Pinnock we wouldn't have made it to 90 minutes with a clean sheet. The defence were on good form today, including Lindsay, and people slagging him off after how well he's played not just today, but the entire season, need to remember that we have the best defence in the league partially because of him. The majority of the team took it to a Premier League team and showed that they aren't just there for a day out.
Totally agree. First mistake and its cost us thats the reality of when defenders make mistakes. It happens at all levels. Im sure it will be lesson learnt for Lindsay as he continues to develop. No mention of Woodrow taking freekick off Mowatt however and lashing high and wide after Mowatt almost scored a moment earlier in a similar position.
Agree. We more than matched a premier league team today. I don't think he actually needed to go in. It would have had to be a world beater to score from where he was.
Matched them throughout no doubt, but never really looked like scoring. First half we looked well on top and should have capitalised on it. Cant fault the work rate of the lads just lacked that final cutting edge in the final third
But I see your true colors Shining through I see your true colors And that's why I love you So don't be afraid to let them show Your true colors True colors are beautiful Like a rainbow
Really? I thought we bossed the midfield for most of the match. They were trying hard but we pressured them into errors. We dispossessed them countless times and some of the passing out of tight spots leading to breakaways was of the highest standard. We didn't approach the game like a team of lower League cloggers playing for a draw Personally thought Thiam clearly showed why he is still here when Potts was allowed to leave. Bahre worked hard and had a few moments but not influential today although I don't agree with the poster who said he was "back to his usual". The lack of natural a goalscorer who can create something from nothing was highlighted again and even Woodrow looked to struggle to get anything today. Moore was very disappointing , albeit he is coming back from illness, be he looked off the pace and distinctly League One material. I may be in a minority but, for me , he is not the future, and if a good offer came along I would take it. Lots of positives to be gained overall though.. Great experience for the young lads against Premiership opposition today. They showed character and Stendel will also have learned quite a lot I suspect.
That's the sorry of Liam Lindsey's career. bring somebody down when there's no need. Does it week after week, we're just fortunate that most of the time he does it outside the box.
Anyone else think it was a foul on Pinnock just before with the arm in the back for the flick on to the striker running at Lindsay? Not a blatant one but certainly no different to several other free kicks he’d given for pushes in the back when competing for headers
