Must be close to the sack now from his beloved Rochdale. I think that is there 4th or 5th 4-0 home defeat this season. They also got hammered 5-0 at Donny last time out. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46707221
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/rochdale/scores-fixtures/2018-08 Lost 4-0 home to us. Lost 4-1 home to Peterborough. Lost 3-1 home to Portsmouth. Lost 4-1 away at Sunderland. Lost 3-0 away at Wycombe. Lost 4-2 away at Oxford. Lost 4-0 home to Bradford. Lost 5-0 away at Doncaster. Lost 4-0 home to Burton. A fair few battering this season. Plenty of the better sides in our league but still too many thrashings.
He's walking a tightrohrp with brorken legs, though, in his defence. (Don't we play them soon? I'd love to get him sacked.)
Whichever way you juggle the cards, it's not a dinosaurish view to say that those results point to a bad DNA.
Thought it was the 26th we played them at home?! Anyway you know what will happen, he will get sacked the week we play them just to make it more awkward!
Ouch! Check out their Twitter feed: Someone is still supporting him and saying give him time to sort it out!!
Being fair to Hill he’s been one of if not the best managers Richdske have had and I’d back him to get them back up after a rebuild . Be careful what you wish for Dale fans the non league trapdoor isn’t choosy
Remember the lad that use to post on here who was a Rochdale fan, he loved Keith, I wonder if he’s still feeling the same?
Be amazed if they’re even contemplating sacking him, on that kind of budget most managers wouldn’t even be able to dream of getting them out of League 2 never mind staying in League 1 season after season
In something like 40 years yes. He is by default doing "a great job" just by having them in the division - they get as few as 2,000 home fans some games and are surrounded by other football league clubs. But crap results are still crap results and I think they'll sack him if it carries on - I think they'll go down regardless, which is a shame as it's a great away day.
