So you think someone operating under Zuk identified the situation with Mr Ryder but it was GG who signed the letter? The plot thickens.

In fact - that’s how men should greet women.
And I’m sure they would eventually get to appreciate it and become upset if yer didn’t.

Exactly what I've heard too. Maybe from the same source. There was much praise for him.

During the 90's the Management Team where I worked ,made no secret of the fact that as well as there
being a couple of Masons within their ranks, they were to a man, very strong supporters of the Conservative
Party. Nothing wrong with that you would think until you considered that the Councillors who were on the
Organisations Steering Group were 90% Members of the Labour Party. Quite often when difficult policy decisions
regarding the future direction of the Organisation which was entrenched in the Public Sector were being made, the
Management team who were in favour of privatising us, were often at loggerheads with the Steering Group who were
adamant that we remain under the control of the Local Councils who owned the Organisation.
My boss couldn't stand the turmoil and therefore decided to take early retirement. I really fancied a crack at doing the
job, but from nowhere a Labour faction from the North West insisted that one of their top Managers be given the job.
Turned out he was an active card carrying member of the Labour Party and over the ensuing 5 years or so, went out
of his way to challenge and frustrate any policy decisions his fellow Board members cared to make where he detected
(with direction from the "lefties" in Lancashire, ) Political " implication or overtone " In fairness, he became popular with the Staff he managed and did a very good job of moving our Division forward, but in terms of recognition his Group were
undervalued and not given the respect they deserved. We were never given the detail, but he was eventually fired for what was described as " disciplinary reasons".!! We haven't got any proof of course, but it would appear that GG is held in very high esteem by our owners. From what we are reading, they are having " trouble" with a critical minority shareholder at OGC Nice one Jean-Pierre Rivera. Just a theory, but what better way to dilute his influence than by putting you " own man" at the head of the Organisation in an attempt to negate the effect he might be having on any " others" at the Club.
It would seem that GG has on the whole done a good job at Barnsley , so it was always probably inevitable that he was
going to move on at some point. Always providing his departure, if indeed he is going, doesn't adversely affect any incoming transfer activity for our Club and we have " someone" suited to the role lined up ready to take over, for my part, he goes with my best wishes and gratitude for a job well done.

Didn't realise but just picked up on the fact that Rivere is leaving and GG is his successor.!
Putting him at the helm would indicate that the majority shareholders would want to exert
greater control going forward in the hope they can build bridges and restore harmony.

Giddings says GG is just one of a number of candidates been considered nothing confirmed. A few folk on social media saying stendel is also off to France.

Let's hope the latter is not true Redrum. We should everything we can do to hang on to
Herr Stendel and his coaching team. Sense that the players are together and it shows in
    their performances on the pitch.

I don’t want Stendel to leave - but if he did then I would really like to see Hecky back.

    Hecky + Money = Promotion
