The amount of people who know what he cost us will probably be in triple figures, but fans are always kept in the dark.
Think he was out of contract in summer according to one of their fans on twitter, so I dont think its much. 200k tops I reckon, if that.
From the clips looked pacy, two footed but not a natural goal scorer. Looking at the comments from the Yeovil Town Facebook mixed reviews. Several stating too lightweight and spending more time on the ground rather than running at defenders. All mentioned his pace. Some stating their best player. Pleased to have signed a winger as Hedges and Isgrove haven't impressed Stendel enough, or been fit to challenge for a place in the team. Literally hope he hits the ground running.
Suppose it doesn't really matter, we clearly intend to buy cheaper than we sell for. The real question is where does the profit go?
Could be more of a replacement for hedges or isgrove as I imagine one or maybe both will be gone by the summer. Hedges has already refused a new deal.
I was impressed with Dougal and Woodrow and hoped we'd turned a corner. But it looks like we've gone back to the maybe, maybe not approach, like under Patrick..
A tiny bit of yes. I just want to know is the aim to make money by progressing the club and aiming to compete higher up the pyramid or is it just to make money no matter what. If we can get promoted I suppose we will find out.
I hope we manage to offload Hedges then if he is in same boat as Mocur! Get some cash and use it for a fresh faced replacement who is not injury prone and wants to be here and fight for a place. Also someone who is wanted by the gaffers.
Really don't think we will find out in this league. If we go up and continue to just sign the same level player the outcome will likely be the same as last time. As you say Woodrow and Dougall look good and may be able to step up. Let's hope we are good enough to find out.
At least wait untill you have seen him kick a ball before writing him off. Seen so many players written off before they have played on this forum pinnock Roberts Williams ect and turned out decent. I don't know if he will be good or not but I'll wait to see him play before making judgement.
What's the point having a player who makes less than 10 appearances in 2 seasons because he is so injury prone. I like isgrove and I thi k he would fit in stendels system but in starting to think what's the point. Probley agree with hedges who also is injury prone.
I bet you could do a montage for Moncur that trumps the BFC one for Green. There seems to be a sacrifice of ball control in return for speed, as is usually the case for players of this type. I can't see much evidence of strikers getting on the end of his aerial crosses either. Said Mr Picky. I wish him the best. Today however we are now without Potts Bahre and Moncur, and I believe we are the poorer for it.
