They were in their best form of the season, the weather was roasting hot which made it difficult for both sides. Much depends on when you play teams over the season as a whole. I think we have a great chance of winning the league so long as we can keep up this consistency - why, because if we play as we can there is no better team.
They worked hard and made life difficult. They couldn't put more than three passes together though. But they were gutsy and we were a long way off our best.
No need to be that disrespectful, we struggled against sides in the bottom half earlier in the season. Given where they started and everything they've been through as a club they've done very well to get to this level on a tiny budget. I wish them all the best for the rest of the season and hope they accumulate enough points to stay up.
This is a learning curve for our manager as well being it his first in the English leagues. Against Wimbledon at home was the first time we faced a team who set up really defensively and only came for a point really, and we didn’t know how to break that down. Today shows the tactical growth of both our team and our manager, and it’s this growth that will get us promotion.
They parked the bus more than any other team that's visited Oakwell this season. Glad we thrashed them which I totally expected us to do.
One of their blokes missed a sitter that would have made it 2-1 to them at half time. Right set of jackasses we'd have looked.
Sitter is putting it mildly I’ve no idea how he didn’t score all he had to do was side foot it in from 3 yards. No contest second half though
I think that’s reall I think that’s really harsh. They have a lot of spirit and we’re in this game for a long time. If their finishing had been up to much they would have had us in real trouble. Having said that I thought the performance by the Boys today was really professional.
